Northland Home Health Receives Deficiecy-Free Survey

Northland Home Health completed the survey conducted by the State of Wisconsin, Department of Health Services-Division of Quality Assurance. On July 10, 2014, after the three-day on-site survey, Northland Home Health was informed that their re-certification survey ended without any areas of deficiency.

The surveyor makes an unannounced visit to evaluate the agency to make sure the provider is meeting all requirements to maintain quality care. Home Health agencies get surveyed approximately every three years. The surveyor goes on home visits, conducts audits of employee files and clients charts, and observes day to day operations within the agency.

"It is very rare to have a deficiency-free survey and Northland Home Health has had two deficiency-free surveys in a row. I am so proud of my staff and all the hard work they put in." stated Vicky McLaughlin, Administrator/DON of Northland Home Health.

Northland Home Health serves the counties of Adams, Green Lake, Marquette, and Waushara. They provide in-home skilled nursing, wound care certified nurse, home health aide, physical/occupational/speech therapy, as well as medical social work.
